Welcome to SkillServe Academy ("SkillServe", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, Learning Management System (LMS), training programs, and related services. By accessing or using any of our services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using SkillServe Academy's services, you confirm that you are legally eligible to enter into a binding agreement, either by being at least 18 years of age or by accessing the services under the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing your use of the services.
2. Services Offered
SkillServe Academy provides technical training programs through both online and offline modes, including LMS-based learning, practical lab training, certifications, and placement assistance. All services are subject to availability and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at the sole discretion of SkillServe without prior notice. The Company reserves the right to revise course structures, content, duration, or delivery methods as required.
3. User Registration & Account Responsibility
Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. Sharing of login credentials or unauthorized use of the platform is strictly prohibited. SkillServe reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be involved in misuse, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.
4. Course Enrollment & Eligibility
Enrollment in any course is subject to eligibility criteria as defined by SkillServe for that specific program. Applicants may be required to submit valid identification and educational documents for verification. Admission is confirmed only upon successful payment of applicable fees. SkillServe retains the absolute right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
5. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy
All course fees must be paid in accordance with the communicated fee structure and timelines. Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment gateways, and SkillServe shall not be liable for any transaction failures or issues arising from such platforms. Fees once paid are strictly non-refundable, except where explicitly stated otherwise. No refund shall be provided in cases of absenteeism, voluntary discontinuation, or failure to meet course requirements. Any exception to this policy shall be at the sole discretion of SkillServe.
6. Attendance & Certification
Learners are required to maintain the minimum attendance as specified for each course, typically not less than 80%, and must complete all assessments, practical training, and evaluation requirements. Certification may be subject to third-party assessments or governing bodies where applicable. Failure to meet attendance or assessment criteria may result in non-issuance of certificates, without any refund or compensation.
7. Placement Assistance Disclaimer
SkillServe Academy provides placement assistance as a support service to help learners connect with potential employers. However, SkillServe does not guarantee job placement, employment, or salary outcomes. Employment opportunities depend on individual performance, skills, attendance, industry demand, and employer selection processes. SkillServe shall not be held liable for any employment-related outcomes.
8. Code of Conduct
Users are expected to maintain professional conduct and discipline at all times while accessing SkillServe facilities, classes, or digital platforms. Any form of misconduct, harassment, indiscipline, misuse of equipment, or violation of rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of services without refund. Users must respect faculty, staff, fellow learners, and institutional guidelines.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All content provided by SkillServe Academy, including course materials, videos, LMS content, training modules, and documents, is the exclusive intellectual property of SkillServe. Users are strictly prohibited from copying, recording, reproducing, distributing, or using such content for commercial or non-authorized purposes. Any violation may result in legal action under applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Use of Infrastructure & Labs
Users are required to follow all safety instructions and operational guidelines while using labs, machines, and training infrastructure. Any damage caused due to negligence, misuse, or non-compliance with safety instructions may be recoverable from the user. SkillServe shall not be liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from improper use of equipment or failure to follow safety protocols.
11. Limitation of Liability
SkillServe Academy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its services. This includes, but is not limited to, technical issues, LMS downtime, loss of data, or service interruptions. SkillServe is also not responsible for losses resulting from user negligence, unauthorized access, or external factors beyond its control.
12. Indemnification
By using SkillServe services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkillServe, its management, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your violation of these Terms, misuse of services, or breach of any applicable laws.
13. Third-Party Services
SkillServe may utilize third-party platforms and services, including payment gateways, LMS providers, and certification bodies. SkillServe does not control and is not responsible for the policies, performance, or actions of such third parties. Users are advised to review the terms and privacy policies of such third-party services independently.
14. Termination of Services
SkillServe reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services, courses, or platforms at any time without prior notice in case of violation of these Terms, misconduct, or misuse of services. In such cases, no refund or compensation shall be provided.
15. Force Majeure
SkillServe shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance of services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana.
17. Changes to Terms
SkillServe reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
